Zenith Fuzzbomb started in Huntington Beach,CA. in 2004.Scott and Brian Hightower moved their band,Electric Vision, to L.A. in hopes of establishing themselves on the Hollywood music scene.When the other half of the band didn't follow suit, Brian's wife,Monnie,which previously fronted the all-girl punk outfit The Drapes,joined the band.They hooked up with SoCal native White on drums and shortly after,ex- electric vision guitarist Jeremy Griffiths rejoined the band. And thus Zenith Fuzzbomb was created.Over the next two years,the Fuzzbomb would tour the west coast extensively and play some of the best music venues in the nation-including The whiskey-a go-go-,The House of Blues,The Roxy,Viper room,and a spot on the 2005 Van's Warped tour(Smartpunk stage).Monnie,Brian,and Scott saddled up and returned to their native state of Texas in 2006 to discover the most vibrant music scene in Austin.They completed their lineup with Michigan native,Dave Irish on drums and have been active on the Austin music scene as well as touring regionally.The Fuzzbomb is influenced by many including but not limited to -- Butthole Surfers,Ween,The Beatles,The Who,The Donnas,Iron Maiden,Rev. Horton Heat,The Flaming Lips,The Pixies and anything by Frank Black.Rock-n-roll is a lifestyle,not a hobby.Zenith Fuzzbomb will never die.
