BandHip HopReggae

Sweet rainforest roots reggae, pop style ska, and funky hip hop that rocks the dancefloor. Australian ‘roots’ has finally matured, with the deepest reggae splash and funkiest urban swing that is Zennith.

From the deep scrub of Bulwai country in Kuranda, Far North Queensland, emerges a sound that fuses skankin’ rainforest reggae with funky hip-hop.

Zennith have been rippin' up venues and festivals in the Tropical North with their roots/ska/urban combo.

Zennith is a core group of 4 young Kuranda musicians, Aden Brim (MC Texta - Songwriter/Lead Singer/MC), Isaac Crowley (Bass), Robert Donahue (Guitar/Vocals) and Lindsay Snider (Drums/Vocals), with family members Astro Brim (Percussion & Vocals) and Willie Brim (Keyboards & Vocals).

The Kuranda community, in the rainforest of Far North Queensland, has produced and attracted an abundance of musical talent over the past 30 years and is about to do it again.

The family of the group are very well steeped in music, with father Willie Brim, a traditional owner of Bulwai country, leading the seminal Far North band Mantaka, and having taken his music, singing and dancing to the world.

Zennith have built up a hyped local support with their high-energy rhythms and rhymes. Their ability to unite and rock audiences simultaneously is becoming infamous around the music haunts and roots festivals of Tropical North Queensland.

After blowing away audiences in Palm Island, the Laura Festival and Kuranda Roots Festival, the group dropped their debut single “We Got It”.

They were finalists in the QSong Music Awards, and have just sexed-up and smoked audiences and industry alike at the Big Sound Music Conference, Wollumbin Dreaming Festival, Solid Territory Jam and the Island Time festival.

Currently they are working towards recording their debut 4 track EP, some fun shows including Katchafire (NZ)support, and then 4 shows at the Woodford Folk Festival.

Zennith are the new future of roots and indigenous music from down-under, kickin’ stereo types and rockin’ dance floors.
