Bio
Hitting the scene around 2012 as Black Zheep DZ, The young Lyricist from Charm City(Baltimore) has cultivated a sound that brings his supporters back always asking for more.
By the age of 11, Zheep's lyrical talent was apparent to everyone around him and the rhythm--well, that came naturally. Growing up with a Jamaican father, Zheep was brought up listening to reggae, while siblings opened his ears to wordplay from rappers of the 90’s / "Golden Era". His passion for music overlapped into dance early on, making him a fixture in Baltimore's popular club music scene, but that talent didn't distract him from the mic.
Zheep recorded his first material on home studio equipment and released those early projects under the name DZ in 2010-2011. It was then a West Coast trip the year he graduated high school(2011) and a change in inspiration that made him change his name to Black Zheep DZ a.k.a “Zheep".
