"Zigs music is awsome!! I play it on all my radio shows!"

(Five Out of Five Stars) - I have both cds from ZiggyDale and I use them for my radio shows, as well as for use at parties and my own enjoyment. I am a disc jockey and his discs are a great tool for me, his music is different from the main stream music. - Big John Haney

"Kick Ass"

(Five Out of Five Stars) - The show in Columbus, Ohio was Kick Ass, one of the best opening acts I've seen for DAC. It won't be long before you will need an opening act for yourself. It was a pleasure to meet you. We had a great time can't wait to see you again. - CD Baby Reveiwer - Kent & Leslie

"Southern Rock, Redneck, Rebel Music, - Tells the real life of real people!"

(Five Out of Five Stars) - Saw Ziggydale with DAC at Ziggys in Winston-Salem. He was the best opening act I have ever seen!
I got to shake his hand and meet him when I was purchasing his (first) CD. Very nice and down to earth guy.
His CD is the best CD I have purchased in the past 5 years!
The songs are about real people and their lives. I wished the song Freebird Trailer Park was on there. That song was TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! - CD Baby Reviewer: Tony Holyfield

Bio

Born, Dale Seigfreid, in the small town of Greenwich, OH (approx. 70 miles west of Akron) with music in his blood. He started playing piano at age 4, & by the age of 13 he was playing Stand-Up Bass & Lead Guitar in traveling Bluegrass bands. A friend gave him the nickname "Ziggy", & it stuck. At the age of 14, his neighbor, who was the program manager for WNCO, the local country station, asked him to DJ the Sunday morning slot. This introduced him to many of Nashville's legends, & made him want to play more instruments & try to bring his inner music out. He bought his first Steel Guitar, from another traveling Bluegrass musician. "I had my first gig playing Steel, the weekend after I bought it, & I didn't even know how to tune the damn thing, yet" At the age of 19, became a member of the David Allan Coe Band, playing Both Steel Guitar & Dobro. From 1978 - 1986 Ziggy's steel guitar solos were featured on 10 different David Allan Coe albums. David took a special liking to Ziggy referring to him on liner notes, & calling out his solos on various songs as , "The Oldest Son..."Ziggy was, at that time, the only band member allowed on David's bus, "which worked out, since I was also the only person David would let drive the bus..." While still playing shows with David, & the Tennessee Hat Band, Ziggy made a name for himself as The Premiere Steel player in Nashville. Billy Sherrill, who, at that time was the Number One producer in Nashville, had Ziggy playing on nearly every record he produced. Ziggy still does a lot of studio sessions, backing many newcomers & songwriters in country, southern rock, rock & gospel music.. But his heart is in playing live with his new band, "Only Rebel Child" behind him, he can take control of Any crowd, & lead them wherever he feels like going. By the time he walks off stage they feel like they've been on a musical journey, & They're only thirsty for more....
