Make That A.. Talk (feat. Ziggy)
Lyrics Artist(Band):Chingy

Feeling a bit camera shy

Entertaining friends and family has always been apart of Ziggy’s life. As early as 4 years old she can remember writing rhymes with her older brothers, and performing for the neighborhood kids, by singing Jackson 5 songs in the driveway of their St Louis home.
It didn’t take long for her to realize that entertaining was more then a hobby, she had a true love for writing lyrics and spitting rhymes. She was known for her cute smile, edgy style, and fierce lyrics.
“I can remember me and my brother Howard going to the local recording studio, and working for hours laying down tracks, I tried to learn as much as I could, because I knew one day I would make my living as an entertainer, the studio was my prep school.”
By age 14 she was a regular on the mic, and her lyrical skills were undeniable. Ziggy developed a style that was all her own, not only as a rapper, but her love for fashion as well as music turned a once cute little girl into a beautiful trend setting teenager. “I’ve always had a love for fashion, so I never fell in line with what everyone else wore, I set the fashion trends at school and in the neighborhood and eventually people started to take notice.”
Now at age 21, Ziggy is signed to Slot-A-Lot Records, she is working with DPS Productions, and her rhymes are no longer those of a teenage girl, but she is spitting lyrics about the life she has lived, the neighborhood she’s from and the power of a woman. “It’s all about respect, we as women have to know how to respect ourselves and make those we are involved with respect us.” You may hear her talking about Gucci bags, Prada shoes, or the number of carat’s on her hand, but you will also hear her talking to women about being strong, self sufficient, and ready to take over the world (if they have to).
Ziggy showed her skills on Chingy’s sophomore album “Powerballin,” where she appeared on the track “Make that Ass Talk,” and now she’s prepared to let the world know who Ziggy is. Her first single is scheduled to drop in May 2006, with her debut album following in the fall.
“My sound is raw, but it’s also sexy, just like my personality. I can rock a pair of sneakers during the day and stilettos at night, that’s just me.”
