Rock Stars are uniquely known for possessing unstoppable amounts of explosive energy on stage; while discovering their artistic, extraordinary, and adventurous talents.

In a recent interview, Xavier Shelton aka “Ziggy The Rock Star” was quoted saying that some of his greatest influences came from the legendary Jimi Hendrix and the world renowned legendary band U2. Seemingly, it’s just not expected for someone as young as “Ziggy” to even understand the incredible contribution and legacy that these individuals have left behind.

But undeniably, “Ziggy The Rock Star” exudes remarkable liveliness each and every time that he has a live performance sending his fans into a frizzy. When performing, Ziggy carries his fans into a journey of music; where the raw sounds of hip-hop, funk, pop and rock-n-roll are combined; exhibiting that he undoubtedly understands the gigantic shoes he must fill by being called a “Rock Star.”

Phenomenal, energetic, sensational and amazing are just a fraction of what fans and concert goers have used to describe Ziggy when he exit’s the stage. Music is Ziggy's passion! It runs deep in his soul, down his fingers, onto his guitar strings and through the bodies rocking to every breath he takes. His lyrical content gives the listeners what they want to hear today and 10 years from today.

Now his parents/managers only smiles as they observe their son on stage and over hears the cheers from the crowd; reminding them of earlier days in Atlanta when Ziggy showed his love of music at only eight years old. Back then his parents had no idea that their vow to turn his passion into a reality would generate so much popularity and fame.

With so much more to look forward to, Ziggy’s parents realized that there was something very distinctive about their son. Not just for his ability to sing, memorize songs and rock the stage, but most of all for his compassion for others; confirming that they had a child prodigy.

Since that time their dedication to “Ziggy” has definitely created quite an impressive resume including but not limited to The IDJ Trade Show 2010, The Scion Summer Bash Car Show, The Radio Disney Summer Block Party, The Universoul Circus, The Harlem Globetrotters Game and Season 18 winner at Café 290 just to name a few.

Excitingly, Ziggy also can be seen on the big screen in major films such as The Blind Side, Stomp the Yard, and Lottery Ticket. He also has starred in several indie films, broadway musicals and music videos with Mike Epps, DJ Unk, Bow Wow, Young Dro, Dorough, Yung Joc, Shawty Lo, Lil Twist and many more.

Ultimately, he is the embodiment of a child star; who continues to remind himself that having fun doing what you love, inspiring others, being a positive role model for people, and most of all to live out your destiny with no limitations are most important.
