2013 has been a big year for New York-city based comedian Joe Zimmerman.
In addition to making his Comedy Central debut on John Oliver’s New York Stand Up Show, he performed on Nickelodeon’s NickMom Night Out, appeared on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom Show, and was chosen as one of the acclaimed New Faces at Just For Laughs Montreal, where he was positively reviewed by both The Spit Take and Time Out NY. His network debut airs November 20th on The Late Late show with Craig Ferguson.
Praised for an accessible style pairing absurdism with an innocent demeanor, Joe is an original member of the Beards of Comedy; the most requested tour in the Southeast from 2008-2012. The Beards released two albums (their most recent Cardio Mix in 2011 with Comedy Central Records) and produced a web series for MSN that amassed over one million views.
Joe has several projects on the horizon; notably a new podcast "Universe City," which will blend comedy and popular science; and his debut solo album, "Smiling at Wolves," which is set for a December release date with New Wave Records.
