A group of three guys were trying to form the perfect new rock band and driving forward with some great tunes and killer riffs. This consisted of Joe Lanza and Frank DeFranco on guitars and Joey Langer on drums. They were desperate to complete a lineup.
When the original Zodiac disbanded in the middle of 2006 and singer Nick Fargo came back from his stint with American Idol, he brought the name, a few songs and quickly grabbed bassist Johnny "Bass" Mendryk.
While rehearsing for sometimes up to 8 hours a day, they quickly got the product of the new Zodiac out into the world and were immediately invited to open for legendary Sebastian Bach of Skid Row. Since then the band has been playing local and regional clubs and still riding on the phenomenal performance with Bach.
Zodiac is now getting air time in the Northeast US, the UK, and Australia, and the wildfire is quickly spreading.
