Bio

Founded in 1999, Zodiacs recorded 2 LPs before signing with Dro Atlantic / Warner Music in 2006. Their first record with Dro Atlantic, “Zodiacs” received 4 stars in Rolling Stone magazine. In 2007, the MTV Europe Awards nominated the group for Best Emerging European Artist. In 2009 they released the LP “3,2,1” to rave reviews, with the song “Con Poco Me Lo Monto” being picked up by soft drink powerhouse Fanta for their summer television ad campaigns. They are currently touring extensively with heavy radio play, frequent interviews, and music videos consistently airing on MTV and other music shows.

According to Ignacio, their music can be described as "as a blend of The Who and The Real Kids with definite Spanish powerpop influences from groups like Pistones." Zodiacs stand apart as they sing exclusively in Spanish. Listeners may recognize a touch of Detroit rock legends MC5 or Swedish rockers Soundtrack Of Our Lives in the clean though raunchy guitar work; however, Zodiacs catchy powerpop vocals offer great cross over potential for any audience.

Their high energy live concerts are renowned throughout Spain. After 9 years of touring (over 300 concerts) the band has perfected it's live act, never failing to rev up a crowd. It is this reputation that has allowed them to open up for international bands such as Jet, The Mooney Suzuki, and The Cynics.

With such cross-over potential and catchy Spanish-language tunes, Zodiacs is positioned to be one of the first major Spanish language rock bands to excel in the American market.
