Award winning Zoe K is new blood on the Australian blues scene. Hailing from the small country town of Maitland, NSW, where there was limited things to do apart from mud wrestling and cow tipping so instead, she imersed herself in music. Learning from the masters, she would stay in her room listening and imitating all the great diva's before her time. Taking a liking to female performer's who werent just great singers, but also had the sass, charm and attitude to match it. In a time when sometimes it seems that every young female is donning the 1950's look and cashing in on the 'soul revival' Zoe K is the real deal.
Recently sweeping up Best Female Vocalist in the 2009 ABC music awards she has recieved good feedback form her live performances. Zoe K also had the opportunity to support one of her idol's, Renee Geyer for her last tour.
