Zoe Z has been very well received as she shares her life stories through her songs. She delivers such poignant truth and heartfelt honesty. Her live performances are captivating. She is a Songwriter, Singer and multi instrumentalist who so eloquently brings together her passion for playing the cello and creating her pure and honest songs that touch people’s hearts.

Zoe has licensed her songs to various film and television projects and recently co-wrote the opening title and end title song for an upcoming independent Feature film, as well as writing two additional songs for this project.
She also licensed one of her songs for the end credits song to another independent film called John’s Hand.
Zoe has performed with David Crosby, America, and David Page of Mr. Mister in the Artists for the Arts concert. She’s a favorite at O’Brien’s Pub,
Java Drama in Santa Monica where She won the best singer songwriter award.
JCM Junior Chamber Society played the 2nd Shostakovich piano trio, receiving a superior command performance in the scsboa solo and small ensemble competition.

She played at the Durango Songwriter’s Expo Durango Night in Scottsdale Arizona Ear Candy Benefit Concert with Melany at the Compound Grill and was a standout talent at the Durango songwriter’s expo film and TV Showcase.

Zoe Z has been studying at String Project Los Angeles a school for alternative string players for 5 years where she’s studied everything from traditional classical repertoire to jazz, blues, folk, reggae, rock and pop. She attended Interlochen Arts summer program, is attending the Idlewyld summer arts program this summer, participates in Santa Monica high school’s Philharmonic orchestra. Also participated in the Coda honor orchestra, the kawanis solo competition, received a scholarship to the Beverly hills international music festival, is participating in Santa Monica High school’s Java drama this year and did last year, frequent orchestra volunteer, played at the Jazz Bakery 3 times with string project LA, played many times at the Actor’s Gang Theater with Sting Project Los Angeles, played in the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in the Stairway To The Stars concert, attended the Elemental Strings program and has been a mentor of young musicians for 3 years.
Miss Zelkind also volunteered & performed numerous times at the Fireside convalescent home in Santa Monica.
