Zombori

Zombori is a Hungarian world music band, founded in 2008 in Szekesfehervar (HU), the members hometown and named after a bus stop. In our music style called "fresh folk" or folktronica were experimenting how the pulsating energy of Hungarian folk music can be complemented with gentle jazz and rock riffs and progressive electronic sounding, which makes our songs perfect for either chilling out or having crazy barbaric fun in a real Hungarian dancehouse-way.

Weve been performing at the most important clubs and festivals of Budapest and Hungary (including the A38 ship, Szimpla, Sziget etc.), and in summer of 2013 we were chosen as the best newcomer world music group on A38s talent contest.

Hungarian national television (MTV) has also featured our songs several times in its programming, as well as leading Hungarian radio station, Petofi Radio.
