Bio
Zoo consists of Damon Karner on guitar and vocals, Derek Dare on guitar and vocals, Matt Coglienese on bass guitar, and Noor Albana on drums. The music played by Zoo is influenced by bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Black Sabbath, Blue Cheer, Cream, The Grateful Dead, and the Allman Brothers etc.... The freedom to explore our instruments is endless and what ever comes to mind wil be played through the instruments as a stream of sonic bliss. The factor that sets us apart from most classic rock bands is the influence our bass player has on us. Our bass player, Matt Coglienese, has been trained in classical music within orchestra, and he has also 5 years experience in upright jazz bass.
