"A terrific debut from a talented London quartet"

Reviewer: Dave Clarke - SCENE Magazine

"Zopiclone's debut CD is a stylish mix of adult oriented pop tunes with a slight 80's feel driven by the funky bass lines of Jeff Parkinson, and the vocals of keyboardist Christian Gundlack. There are echoes of REM as well as The Hip in the band's songwriting. I was particularly impressed by the track, "The City Is Alive" which is totally catchy with a killer arrangement and a tasty little horn solo. The songs are well crafted with a special attention to interesting arrangements, like "Video Game Machine", a bluesy funk number with some tasty horn charts. All and all, a terrific debut from a talented London quartet."

"Labatt 24 Hour Relay"

"Zopiclone performed for us at the 2007 Labatt 24 Hour Relay. Our participants thoroughly enjoyed their clear, vibrant, pleasing music. Their professionalism on and off the stage was also refreshing. We hope that they will be able to perform for us again at future events."
