Z Rokk

Z Rokk (Zac Diebels) is a Producer / Writer / DJ / Remixer, working out of his studio Rock Inc Studios in Northern California. His focuses as a Producer/writer/DJ/mixer are electro, pop, and dub-step music. Z Rokk utilizes his many fluent playing abilities in guitar, bass, drums, DJ-ing, viola and piano to be able to bring different types of soundscapes, textures and rhythms together in a fuse of danceable bass driving music.

Z Rokk started DJ-ing when he was 15 years old doing parties, school dances and college events. Simultaneously playing in a band he learned to write songs and put together set lists to keep a dance crowds entertained. Z Rokk continued DJ-ing through college and finally found himself in a band named Simon Says. Simon Says went on to sign to Hollywood Records where he was able to Co-produce records with Rob Cavallo(Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Paramore), Mark Needham(The Killers, Chris Isaak) and Jeff Saltzman(Creeper Lagoon, The Killers). Working with these high level producers gave Z Rokk the education in music business and production that would take him to the next level. Learning the art of producing and engineering was like a fish to water and seven years later Z Rokk is now successfully balancing both writing and remixing/DJing career as “Z Rokk.” In addition to producing and remixing, Z Rokk also has s “rock” solo project named Automatic Static and is signed to digital record label Authentik Artists. Z Rokk has successfully had syncing and licensing placements in major motion pictures, television shows and video games in both “rock,” “electro,” and “hip hop” genre. Some of these TV and Films include National Lampoon’s “Beerfest,” Paramount Pictures “Varsity Blues,” MTV’s “The Jersey Shore,” “Disaster Date,” “The Real World Road Rules Challenge,” “E Channel’s “E News,” Disney’s “Johnny Sunami,” “Quiksilver Surfing,” Europe and many more. Z Rokk currently works with Gas Can Music Inc for soliciting his songs to production companies in both film and television as well as commercial use and remixing artist tunes for special release and club remixes.

Z Rokk has recently turned his focus to remixing and production in electronic/pop/dub-step music and is available to any and all artists that seek these types of tunes for their releases and online followers. It can be very reasonable, cost wise and a fun addition to a record for fans and online promotion.
