Bio
Rick Gabler is a veteran guitarist from Austin's prolific guitar stable that produced Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Johnson, ZZ Top... where these players often interchanged as bandmates in groups Rick played in. He now takes those early influences to a whole new level- a prolific songwriter and author of a vast catalogue of songs, some recorded by various artists and tv/film, and as a session player the list is also long..Loves to perform on stage giving him an opportunity to show why he is one of the best guitarists to ever come out of Austin..
Stu Cruden teamed up with Rick that ignited the Ztown spark. He's at home bass both in the studio and stage, as well as being a gifted songwriter that has been in Ztown since the beginning. Stu is the "Paul McCartney" to Rick's "John Lennon". The Ztown sound is distinctly honed by Stu's catchy lyrics and his thirst for the perfect bass line.
Barry Sensinig/Keyboards/vocals.. Veteran keyboard whiz session and live performer. Barry toured in the 1970's with national acts before settling in Boulder, where space was provided to lend his energy and experience to the unique blend of rock, funk, blues, and Americana to the Ztown mix.
Joe Morton Drums...top L.A. session drummer now a Boulder icon.. Published instructor (including an international book on a revolutionary speed-kick technique), toured with Chaka Khan. Joe gets to unleash his talent and passion that interlock seamlessly with the songs and players in this band.
