Anthony Marcial Vera (born May 20th, 1992), known professionally as MONTEZUMA (stylized as ZUMA), is an American DJ, record producer, entrepreneur, record executive, actor, and audio engineer. He is the founder and co-founder of AztecGold Records. MONTEZUMA began his career in 2007 as a member of the prominent Broward creative collective The VLN'z and has produced and recorded for every nearly release. His remixes of Shiloh Dynasty's cover of Robin Thicke's "Would That Make You Love Me" and collaborative effort with Mr. Alexis titled "Por Fin" have been influential to the Miami underground music scene and has been arguably considered as one of the top artists to look our for in 2020. His music consists of a wide variety of styles, including Rap, Chillhop, R&B, Brazilian Funk incorporating an eclectic range of influences including hip hop, soul, baroque pop, electro, indie rock, synth-pop, industrial, and gospel.
