ZUR - Zona Urbana Rock

In the middle of 2005, ZUR starts its formation in Los Angeles and after initial adjustments; it got integrated by the actual band members.
From the beginning Daniel Giaconi and Claudio Mileo’s creative forces were consolidated to compose, with a rich musical vision, but without leaving the popular aspect of their offer.
ZUR was growing in a musical experimentation, always maintaining their “rock foundation” due to its varied influences and musical predilections.
As a result they have forged an intense new sound that incorporates the most exciting elements of rock, fusing the pop, funk and jazz with the melodic hooks of today's headlining acts that define the ZUR’s sound and style.

After several live presentations the public’s response was very positive and ZUR starts to work hardly on their music diffusion through more shows and the support of their followers.

ZUR command the stage with a very powerful and energetic work with a stage presence and professionalism usually reserved for seasoned veterans of the rock clubs.
Venues like BB King' s Hollywood, Mama Juana' s, Good Hurt Club, House of Blues, Hard Rock Café, etc. could testified it

Furiously independent, ZUR sets out to offer not just their original music but also a professional way to introduce it to the public. A “ZUR’s aesthetic” as their called it.

Having entered the game a little over two years ago, the band has catapulted their signature sound out of the small clubs and onto the big stages.

ZUR was invited to participate in the Los Angeles Fiesta Broadway 2007, one of the most important Latin events in the United States, that reunites more than half of million people every year, where ZUR shares the Burger King’s sponsored stage “Tu Ciudad, Tu Musica” reserved only to the top 10 alternative bands of Southern California.
Due to an excellent performance in that stage, ZUR got the attention of the event’s promoters who encouraged the band to start the recording of their music.

Later that year the recording of the band’s first independent CD begins, under the musical production of Guillermo Pascual (ex- member of prestigious artists such as Angeles del Infierno and Noelia among others).

At the beginning of the 2008 the band undertakes its international way with the first visit to Mexico.
