Hey
Zwelithini here. In a nut shell, I was born in Zimbabwe, grew up in London England and moved to the U.S as a teenager. I started singing at the age of 15 a sophmore in High school. What started out as poetry writing, quickly evolved into humming a tune to my own poetry, then actually singing. Songwrting then was really a way for me to convey what I was feeling or going thru at the time. I also found soul music from the sixties, although out of my time to be very inspiring and just made me want to sing more and more. I Thoroughy enjoyed listening to Aretha Franklin, Donnie Hathaway and Stevie Wonder. Dance music also drove me wild. Gospel music and singing in church is what auto tuned my singing voice. Really giving me that extra vocal range. Also having grown up in 3 different continents really changed my sound, making it more of a Euro Flavor. Making music and singing is my life and I cant see myself doing anything else.
