ZZ11 orchestra

The project ZZ11 started in Winter 07/08 when Mannheim based musician Zacharias Zschenderlein decided to write his own music with the motivation to do something new. He likes going to clubs dancing to weird electronic beats after studying hours of jazz guitar and lately he begann to play in local pop- rockbands. So he decided to put everything he likes together and let it be played by a large ensemble of great musicians (all professionals). What came out, were compact songs driven by energenic dance beats colourful harmony and strong beautiful melodies, sometimes remixed to visual impressions by VJ Tobias Galle’ (who already performed at the Time Warp). The idea was to create an event between club and concert. You can either listen, dance or dream to the music of ZZ11 Or you do everything at the same time if you can, because there is much happening!
After some changes in the lineup and some local concerts, in 2009 the first Demo- EP of the band was recorded. Everything done with a little help of his friends. It became a really unique indie production of remarkable quality. The actual lineup became a band full of energy and motivation ready to blow the minds of their audience.
