Branson Bell

Branson Bell is the President of The Jazz Society, WSU Big Band II Director and a guest student conductor for the WSU Wind Symphony. Branson was nominated for the positive and supportive role he provides to the students around him under his leadership

Branson came to WSU with the hopes of gaining experience in teaching and working with students. “This Universities student first mindset offered multiple opportunities to lead, teach and learn with other students and teachers.” Said, Branson. When asked about his involvement at WSU, he shared “Your involvement in leadership and student organizations at WSU is what you will remember the most, once you are ready for the next phase of your life. The principles you learn and obstacles you overcome with your team, and with your students will be the achievements that propel you into your career. Don't miss out on those opportunities!”. When asked what being a leader meant to him, he shared "I personally believe anyone has the potential to be a successful leader. As long as those you serve come first. We find the most happiness when we achieve any form of positive progression. If our first thought is to help those we serve to achieve progression, then those we work with will be happy and we can be successful."
