BLAKBOT is a musical collective conceived by Kenyatta Scott, a seasoned studio/ session musician/ songwriter and producer originally from Detroit MI USA, (amongst other musical highlights, his 4th grade teacher was the one and only R and B superstar, Mr. Hamilton Bohannon- that makes him a TRUE soul child!) currently living in Atlanta GA USA. BLAKBOTS music's purpose is to provide deep, soulful afro jazz funk rock techno sounds for the world's consumption. Primary members of The BLAKBOT Project are: Parris Starchia/ DJ DONNE (Co- Songwriter/ Engineer/ Synths), Carl "Doc" Boyd (Sax, Flute), Serge "Sergio" McCoy (Set Drums), Charles St Louis (Bass), Darren Curtis (Lead Guitar), Bobby "Miller Time" Miller (Congas), Sule' Opio (Congas/ Djembe) and Randall Vaughn (Trumpet/ 4 valve Flugelhorn/ Congas/ Synths).The UK's own Daz-I-Kue (Bugz In The Attic/ 4HERO/ Macy Gray) is the Chief Engineer/ Co-Producer.
