Boogie Madeoff

Born Rufus R Gordon, July 10th 1984.
Boogie was raised in San Jose Ca. with his mother.
His father was a very well known radio disc jockey from Detroit Michigan and his mother was a singer from Kansas City Missouri. At the age of 5 Boogies mother started entering him into talent shows. Knowing that he had the personality she was sure he would do well.

Boogie received his first paying job as an entertainer at the age of 7 from working with his aunt on the theatrical musical Showboat. He then began developing his craft as a self-motivated on the spot performer. His personality guided him into singing and rapping. Boogie has released 6 albums independently. He has featured on songs with more than 45 artists both major and underground. Artists like Clyde Carson, TraxxaMillion, MayLay of Westside Connection, just to name a few.

The Don Monster as he calls himself has performed at more than 1000 showcases through out the United States. Just in the last few years hes managed to rank out a #1 spot with several singles at Northern Californias largest college radio station 90.5 fm KSJS. Boogie quickly understood that it was going to take much more than just his music to get him the notoriety he deserved.

He grasped the concept of the promotion and began working with some of San Joses most elite promoters. They all embraced Boogie because they knew his work ethic from his days of selling cds on the streets of downtown San Jose.
In 2011 he dropped a solo album on the world re-noun bay area label, Thizz/Thizz Latin Entertainment. He gained national exposure and well deserved regional credibility.

That credibility landed him a golden opportunity to work with longtime friend and CEO of Billiboi Music Group, Karriem Adams. The future is bright for this young superstar in training. He sees music in colors and has the heart of a lion. Focused on being his best, Boogies destined for greatness simply because he feels the man upstairs has a plan for him.
