Bri Biase is an underground female artist on the rise, with this year alone releasing lots of music on all types of platforms. With the move to Atlanta, and signing to Authentic Empire Music Group, the only way is up from here.

MiyaaJ’s brief interview with Bri Biase, follows below.

MiyaaJ: Shout out to you on all these massive accomplishments: new label, new mixtapes, new videos. You’re rising as an underground artist, which is also dope being that you're a female. With that being said let the people know who is Bri Biase, and where did the name come from?

Bri Biase: She’s an artist, she’s real, lit, cool, can get extra ratchet but she’s a mother first. The name came from my homeboy who pulled me to the side after the show and saying “Miss Bri” was too prissy, and how “I knock females out in the ring”. He said to call myself “Bri Biase”, asked him where did he get a name like that, he went on to tell me about the famous wrestler “Ted B Biase”. Ted B Biase was known as the Million Dollar man and that's where he felt me I would soon be. Well, woman.

Seems as if you came out the womb spitting. Where did your musical background come from?

Listening to my brother and cousins in my mother's basement singing. They started so young, it sparked my attention but I've always had a love for it.

Musically, what are your biggest influences and who are your favorite artists?

Man, answering that is liking picking your favorite color it's so hard. I've never been able to just choose one. But I will say currently, who has been in the game, J-Cole, 2-Chainz, and Jay-z. There is definitely some upcoming artist as well like 147 Calboy, Roddy Rich, and Cardi B.

With all these influences, Which big artist would you like to Collaborate with?

Would love to jump in the studio with 2-chainz of course, he’s like a mentor to me. As far as, performance wise, gotta go with Travis Scott, he is career goals. The way he lights up the stage is insane!

Got a chance to listen to song of your music sent over, what do you feel is the best song you’ve ever released and why?

I would say the one that means the most to me and only because what I’m talking about, you know as artist we are personally with our music, the song I’m more connected to is “Nobody Told Me”.

As far as the hip hop scene in Atlanta, what's your thoughts on it, especially considering you're not from here?

Atlanta is where you need to be to break the scene, this is one of the biggest places for music right now. Super welcoming crowds, dj's, other artist. You’re going to get shown love out here, as for in Chicago, regardless if your sounding decent the crowd gone still come off stiff.

If Bri Biase didn’t become an artist, what would she be doing ?

I mean I look at myself as the jack of all trades. I went to school for auto engineering, so I would have my hand dirty. Currently, I do voice overs for commercials.

I’ve noticed your style is so unique and you can really think outside the box, could you describe where you get your fashion ideas from?

I would compare it to Missy Elliott, I’m like a mini version of her. The lady killed a trash bag! But I literally throws on whats comes to mind. I would love to have a stylist, because my mind is super creative and having one would help me express myself more. I'm a One-of-a kind type of girl. - Hip Hop Streets
