"Everything Brittnie Is"

Price’s YouTube channel, which has more than 2,000 subscribers, contains not only songs from “Everything We Are”, but also covers and more original songs. They range from Beyonce, to Christina Perri, to Tori Kelly and Ed Sheeran. They are performed in a variety of places: dorm rooms, practice rooms and even coffee houses.

“Generally, I’m a pretty anxious person,” Price said. “[But] when I’m performing, I’m just very at ease and very happy.”

Price recalls one instance where she performed in a coffeehouse at Shaker Square in Cleveland.

“I was having the worst day ever, and I went and the coffeehouse was packed,” Price recalls, the smile on her face wide and her eyes bright. “It was a really great feeling, especially with a receptive group of people who are just there to support you and give you that energy back.”

Putting out her album has been a big step toward her dream, but there is still much more ground to cover. Taking advantage of word of mouth on such a large campus, Price is trying to get her album out there to continue down the path to success. She said it’s a way of helping herself.

“I’m really getting used to the idea of just relaxing and defining myself,” Price said. “Right now, it’s my truth. It’s the way that I sound, and I’m very proud of it.” - KSU Buzz

"New Artist: Brittnie Price"

Welp. I’ve discovered my all-time favorite find on SRS (so far). Brittnie Price is really such a gem. Her EP Everything We Are is so flawless. Her voice is amazing, the tunes are so catchy, and I can’t believe that he hasn’t become extremely famous yet. I’ve already decided that I want to become best friends with this girl because I can only WISH that I had a voice as amazing as hers. She is so freaking talented and it really is an honor to be able to feature her here. Go check her out ASAP because she’s definitely going to be the next big thing. And let her know that SRS sent you!!

Offering an electrifying hybrid of acoustic pop and soul, Brittnie Price is an Ohio born-and-raised Singer/Songwriter with a heart like a big city and a story to tell. Drawing from an abundance of influences from John Mayer to Whitney Houston and Lauryn Hill to Bon Iver, she continues to steer clear of boring and continue to produce truly inspiring material every time. Her style has been compared to that of Tori Kelly, Sara Bareilles, Kelly Clarkson, John Mayer and more; and although comparisons are tempting, Brittnie continues to stay true to her individuality. Price released her debut EP, "Everything We Are," with the help of Jim Wirt and Crushtone Studios (known best for his work with artists Hoobastank, Fiona Apple, Incubus, and more); Her dynamic voice soars brilliantly over a sea of buoyant harmonies, carrying with it deliciously catchy melodies and striking lyrics.
