Bio
Callie Watts is a pop singer/songwriter from Northern California who was raised on classical music, The Beatles and The Beach Boys before discovering Joni Mitchell, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Carole King, and all the great writers of the '60s and 70's who have influenced her sound and melodic writing style. After graduating high school, Callie began playing and performing solo, as well as in local and bay area bands of different genres. She has taken turns throughout her career as a keyboardist, guitarist, writer, arranger, and lead/backing vocalist.
Currently, Callie is a member of the dynamic Sonoma County funk rock band Burrows and Dilbeck. Over time, she's had the honor of opening for acts such as Bootsy Collins, Elvin Bishop, Huey Lewis and The News, War, Ozomatli, Bill Champlin, Booker T, George Clinton, Pablo Cruise, and The B52s. Callie continues to perform frequently as an acoustic solo artist, focusing on developing a core audience and a buzz for her original material. Come hang out and listen at venues such as A’Roma Roasters Coffee and Tea in Santa Rosa, and check out her debut album, In Time, released on 10/4/22.
