Caroline Roman, a pop/EDM singer/songwriter who is just 15, has won the September SingerUniverse “Best Vocalist Of The Month” Competition, for her performance of her song “Unravel” (co-written by Nick Chawala, Charles Malone & Prisca Strothers). This song will be included on her debut EP, which will be released in November (2016).
“Unravel” is a modern pop cut which sounds ready for radio airplay. This midtempo song starts off softly in the verse, but builds to a powerful, high energy chorus. This recording provides a fine showcase for Roman’s strong, expressive vocal performance, which is particularly impressive for a developing artist who is 15-years-old. “Unravel” was expertly produced by Nick Chawala & Charles Malone of Bravo Ocean Productions in Atlanta, GA. Chawala & Malone are producers & sound engineers who have worked with Katy Perry, Mariah Carey and other artists.
Roman lives in Columbus, GA, which is 90 miles south of Atlanta. She learned to play piano at a young age, and she’s been inspired by listening to such favorite artists as Demi Lovato and Sia. As a young girl, she would write stories, and at age 13 she began writing songs. Once her words were put to melodies, a new passion for songwriting was created.
The first song Roman wrote was “Hopeless Lovers,” which is now being featured in a movie that’s in a high school film competition directed by Mason Gillespie.

It’s been during the past year (2016) that Roman has been collaborating with Chawala & Malone at their studio in Atlanta. She has written seven songs with them, including her new single “Heat of the Summer,” plus the songs “Unravel,” “Dark Room,” “Reflection” and “Insanity.” In their songwriting relationship, Roman writes the melody & lyrics, and Chawala & Malone create the tracks and produce.
With her new EP coming out in November, Roman is looking forward to promoting her EP, and performing more live shows. She has been working with a band, and they will be performing at a showcase on September 17. She is also filming videos for three of her songs: “Unravel,” “Heat of the Summer” and “Dark Room.”
Roman is a promising artist to watch. If she continues to makes strides with her singing and songwriting (as she has done in the past two years), it will be interesting to see how her young artist career develops. - Singer Universe, Los Angeles, CA

Caroline Roman is an up and coming Pop Singer/Songwriter that "blasted" onto Atlanta's music radar by winning the "Vocalist of the Month" contest for her original song, "Unravel" named by Singer Universe out of LA. At just 15 years old, Caroline Roman completed her first "EP" featuring her released song, "Heat of the Summer." Once audiences see just one performance, they are "hooked." Her style is super modern and edgy and full of dance energy. Her original songs feature cool lyrics, sultry vocals, and edgy modern EDM beats. Caroline Roman's full band features 3 talented artists who play multiple instruments and custom engineered backing tracks by grammy-nominated sound engineers are Bravo Ocean Productions. Caroline Roman can perform solo, acoustically on the piano or keyboard or with her live band for larger venues which can also include a stage graphics display. Although Caroline Roman is relatively new to the touring/festival/performance world, she demonstrates a show presence equal to a much more seasoned performer. She recently was a spotlight artist at the iconic venue, "The Masquerade" located in Underground Atlanta, GA and has been featured on the Dee Armstrong Show and Q107.3 Radio show as well as at Bravo Ocean Studios, The "Suite", Eddie's Attic in Decatur, and, The Office. Caroline Roman provides a attention-getting, energetic opening act to a headliner band in larger venues, or as the featured artist in smaller venues. Her sound is fresh and current and her beats are radio ready and audiences can't help but to dance!
