"Meet CashMob YP, a 27-year-old Hip-Hop/R&B sensation from Meridian, MS. Born at Rush Hospital and raised in Butler, Alabama, CashMob YP began his musical journey at 12, but it wasn't until 16 that he dedicated himself to his craft. Music became his outlet for dealing with depression and personal struggles, allowing him to channel his emotions into his art.
Influenced by legends like Tupac Shakur, Rick James, Michael Jackson, David Ruffin, and Al Green, CashMob YP's sound is a unique blend of Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, Country, and Soul. His breakout track "WE THE MOB," produced by NFL Bigboyy, has garnered significant attention and showcases his talent.
The loss of his father, Willie C. Ruffin Sr., at a young age had a profound impact on CashMob YP's life and music. This experience taught him the importance of expressing himself through his art, and he now takes his music very seriously.
