Comstock Lode Country Band

I have four piece country band and are very active performing in the Chgo land area.

My band is called The Comstock Lode. We have been performing in the Metro area for the past 6 yrs., but have well over 80+yrs. of combined professional performance experience including national television, radio and large concert events.

Our instrumentation includes acoustic gtr; electric gtr; electric bass; drums; and exceptional vocals with tight harmonies.

Our shows are approx. 1 – 1 1/2 hrs. long with material that is family oriented. Our sets include current country radio artists (i.e. Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley etc.) as well as songs from the past (i.e. Everly Brothers; Roy Orbison; Glen Campbell; Johnny Cash; Waylon Jennings; Willie Nelson; Kris Kristofferson etc.). Since I am a songwriter, we also perform some of my original songs.

Notable local venues we have played and have been asked back, include the Village of Hawthorne Woods (Summer Concert Series); Bub City (Chgo); Firewater (Chgo); Bandito Barney’s (East Dundee; Toby Keith’s (Rosemont); Village Tavern (Long Grove). Our web site is (www.comstocklodecountryband.com). 

Our schedule for 2015 has been quite extensive (25 bookings) with many returning venue dates.  We carry our own high quality PA which can cover both smaller and l larger venues. As an example of a larger venue, in July we performed for a 2nd time the “Hawthorne Woods Summer Concerts in the Park”. They have invited us back again for 2016.

Village of Hawthorne Woods, Ill. – Concerts in The Park Series  (performed, 7/2014 and  7/2015)

Comstock Lode has performed in the Hawthorn Woods Summer Concerts in the Park series for the 2014 and 2015 seasons. I will be recommending to the special events committee to schedule Comstock Lode to perform in the 2016 series.

Comstock Lode provides a marvelous night of entertainment and enthusiastically engages with the crowd. They play a good mix of songs that appeals to a variety of ages. Their years of experience are evident through the great sound of the instruments combined with excellent vocals. They are very professional and I look forward to working with them again in the future to provide a fun and entertaining evening to the community of Hawthorn Woods.
