Dark Horse Prophet

Rock and Roll…it’s been done before, right? The spirit with which that thundering sound made famous in the 60s and 70s and slowly shaped each decade after that still lives on. You’ll find bits and pieces of it here and there in contemporary popular music, but Rock isn’t what it once was…There are those who still blaze the trail with distorted guitars, double bass kick drums, and scorching vocals. There are those who still believe in the secret fire and guard it with their lives.

Enter: Dark Horse Prophet. Not your typical young and upcoming band. Not another emulation of what has been done before. DHP stands out as different. It’s just what Rock deserves. Founded by drummer Brent Terry and Guitarist Eddie Wisztreich and later rounded out by vocalist/guitarist Chaz Terra and Bassist Tony Smith, this Los Angeles quartet clearly has done their homework; with influences across all decades and sub genres of Rock’s history. You can hear it in the quality of their songwriting and lyrics. 2024 seeks to be the birth of this sound with upcoming single releases and shows across the greater LA area and neighboring states.
