Devin More is a rapper and singer out of Boston. He recently released his sophomore EP Afraid To Love, produced entirely by J Rolay. "One Time" is the closing track on the project, and keeps with the dark R&B-infused world we've heard on his previous releases. Beginning with a more trap-influenced instrumental, things eventually transition into piano-led ambience, allowing More's melodic strengths to come out in full force.

Devin More hasn't provided much information about himself, but his new track "Only Way" has caught our attention regardless of context. Like many artists these days, Devin toes the line between rapper and singer, but his melodies feel fresh and unpredictable. "Only Way" is notable first and foremost for its songwriting, full of interesting twists and turns in dynamics, with More's deceptively strong tenor supplying a strong foundation that is fleshed out with interesting production tricks and vocal manipulations.

Devin More's new self-produced record fits very perfectly in the post-Drake R&B world, settling somewhere near Bryson Tiller, as he wields a glossy auto-tuned vocal that's openly rap-influenced. More's new project is called Lost In The Dark Matter, which is a good description of his gloomy, sedated take on R&B. It's not a groundbreaking style, but on "Should've Known," he wears it well, recalling Jeremih's staccato delivery, hinting that Mih's Late Nights style may have equal influence over this new generation of singer's as Drake and The Weeknd's catalogues. Aramis, who features on the record and also co-produced it shows a similar control over his voice, making these two a promising combination.

Miami, FL/Boston, MA singer Devin More finds himself in a harrowing woodland of affection in his single ‘It Could Be’. Devin weathers a storm of synths, grasping for grace he sings “all this love what it mean to you? tell me lies/you don’t need to…”. The singer’s verses encapsulate a wandering soul in search for a compromise that reluctantly reveals itself. - 8POUNDS

Bio
The alias of singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and Boston native, Devin More creates music that is rather dreamy and danceable, a mix scattered between Pop and contemporary R&B. Growing up, More had interests in sports and art rather than music, but after relocating to the Miami area with his Dominican mother and father, he began experimenting. Pursuing music and releasing it independently. Work on new tracks continued between his concert appearances and in 2018 is set to bring more.
