DJ Kenny Perez

Kenny Perez's love of music is the life force that sustains him in every creative endeavor he takes on.

Born in New York City of Newyorican parents, music was always an essential element growing up. The soundtrack to his life was constant and included a variety of genres including Motown, Disco, Freestyle, Rock, House, and of course there was always Salsa blasting from the speakers at every family and social event during his childhood. It is this diverse musical background that has made such an impact on his life and created the fusion of musicality that has lent itself to his talents of being a DJ and Producer.

Kenny Perez has been spinning records for 18 years. While producing his own college radio show for 4 years
at UW-Whitewater, and appearing as guest DJ on Power 105.9, Milwaukees V100, and recently the Saturday Sessions on 88.9 Radio Milwaukee, he has been afforded the opportunity of a stage for his musical artistry.

Spinning House Music, his one true love, and infusing Hip Hop with Rock, Pop, and Reggaeton has helped him become one of the most versatile DJs in the States. Kenny Perezs musical resume includes residencies at Pure, Casablanca, Eve, Tangerine, Kennadees, Apt 720 and Suite in Milwaukee. He has also spun at San Juan Puerto Ricos, Milk, The W in Chicago, Harley Davidson Stage (Summerfest), Eastside Music Tour 2014

His most esteemed experiences came when he opened for major acts such as Lupe Fiasco, Samantha Ronson, Joel
Madden, DJ Enferno, Gabe Saporta. of Cobra Starship, LMFAO, Nick Cannon, Jamie Foxx, Floetry, Joy Basu, and Richard Vission, just to name a few.

Kenny Perez has always had the drive to become a creator of music. Like many other DJs turned Producer, Kenny is on a path to leaving his mark on his Art. His production work on unofficial remixes spans Lady GaGas Just Dance to The Cobra Starship's - You Make Me Feel.

Kenny Perez has helped and prepared various works that showcased at the Winter Music Conference 2012 in
Miami, Florida, under the crew name "MidiFingerz" He is currently enjoying official remixes on Active Ingredient
Records, Lectro Chik, Noise Complaint, and Lab Hits. Songs can be found online on iTunes, Beatport, or Juno.
