Dj Sandz

Dj Sandz is a 28 year old Producer and DJ from the New England area. Growing up in Connecticut just a hour train ride away from a vibrant New York City House and Rave scene was influenced by the sounds of Oscar G, Erick Morillo, Shahar, and Nicole Maudaber just to name a few. Originally a hip hop producer and manager from the age of 17 his switch to producing house music came with the explosion of EDM in 2008-20010. Wanting to keep to his roots and funky hip hop and jazz style he sticks with these progressions within his music he makes everything from big room to deep house. He started Djing as a way of showcasing the many tracks he personally made sometimes letting original mixed  DJing in the New England area proved a tough proving ground as DJ’s became more into form bu t his production allowed himself to relocate to Atlanta where he now is the Music coordinator for Flow Jam Records a music brand dedicated to open park music, flow jams, and circus arts. He has released 3 Lps (welcome to the Island , mainland paradise , and Back to the Island which can be heard on his soundcloud, and is currently working on a 3rd. Dj Sandz has been all over the U.S. and Canada playing at venues such as Detour in Toronto and others in Connecticut such as Metro, Afterlife and “The CT free Festival” which he helped organize. Used to smaller crowds never being properly spotted for his talent he has now found his place in music. He now recently returned From time in Atlanta, GA and has played at the Historic Music Room , Opera and Havana nightclub Dj Sandz is looking forward to spreading his music further with every show of his Djing Career.
