The Dope Factory

The Dope Factory is a Hip Hop group out of the Bay Area of Northern California, where they have been delivering their brand of funk and rock influenced beats and rap music for more than a decade. 

The lineup features InterNational B, Joe B One Kenobi, ScareCrow, Mic A Millian, and producer FMT Beats, veterans of the East Bay scene whose unique brand owes its intensity and diversity to personal tragedy and adversity as much as it does to passion, creativity, women, laughter and the street. 

Having variously survived death, divorce and suicide, they believe that their creativity is too important not to share, a powerful dose of healing and a feel-good vibe that is as contagious as it is evocative. 

Influenced by a wide range of artists that include the Ohio Players, Tower of Power, GLP, OutKast, Rick Rubin and Mac Dre, their songs tell colorful stories that resonate, overlaid with harmonies and memorable hooks that complete their sound.

They’ve been rocking stages all over the the East Bay for years. Their latest single, No One Like, is their first release off their upcoming album due out later this year. 

When they aren’t writing, recording or orchestrating elaborate practical jokes on one another, you might find The Dope Factory boys hanging out with friends, going to record stores and thrift stores, meditating, barbecuing, burning it down, hitting the road or heading out to check out live music at concerts or festivals all over California.
