EK is a new age rapper/producer. Born in California, and raised in Dallas, Texas. EKs Nicaraguan and Mexican background give him an insight into topics, that most hip pop artist are not familiar to. With his unique sound and lyrics, he has captured the attention of many people in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. EK produces all of his music, using subtle influences that come from his diverse background.The combinations of classic influences such as UGK, Eminem, Jay Z, and SPM, have molded his one of a kind style into something fresh and original. Some of his production influences range from J.Dilla, Kanye West, J.Cole, Big KRIT, Nujabef, and Rick Ruben. Being a full time bartender has made him no stranger to the struggles of the working class. This has also greatlly influenced his lyrical content, concepts, and thirst for success. EK will continue striving to represent his culture and heritage in an industry struggling with direction and indentity.
