EVAWILL
/'evəwil/ - (Short for "forever Will")

An assertion of forever being oneself and forever having the will to succeed. It is a name that a young artist out of southeast Georgia grew to live by. Evawill's musical roots begin with his late grandfather, who was a soulful guitarist and singer from a local band in the Savannah area. At a very young age, Evawill developed as the "beat man" by using random household items to create organic beat patterns while his grandfather played the guitar. It evolved to Evawill eventually using keyboards and drum machines to create his original melodies and patterns. After recognizing his ability to poetically put words together in middle school, he began to write & record rhymes to his own beat tapes using a dubbing karaoke machine. It was at this very moment Evawill's vision as a recording artist and music producer became apparent to himself and those close to him.

"Back then...how I was doing it, everything had to be done in one take live. I was making the beat as I rapped at one point. It was no punching in... If I messed up during a song I had to rewind the tape and start over. It was cool though... it kept my mind off a lot of negativity that was around me" - Evawill

Now residing in Atlanta,Georgia, Evawill has had his share of high school pep rally performances, music festival stage sets, and music production placements. You may have seen him performing at the annual Sweet Auburn Springfest in Atlanta, or you may have heard some of his music production on local mixtapes, iTunes, and Pandora. Inspired by the sounds of pioneers like Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and Dungeon Family, Evawill's music brings you a unique twist between energetic contemporary hip hop, R&B, and southern soul.
