11.11.09 A Tribute to our Veterans

Music For Troops, a charity created to give troops and veterans the gift of music, is sending 1,000 veterans a copy of the 11.11.09 compilation this November 11. 10 slots will be reserved for Sonicbid members, and all selected artists will be featured on the MFT website. All genres accepted./n/nMusic For Troops (MFT), a 501(c)(3) charity created to give troops and veterans the gift of music, is pleased to announce the creation of Operation 11.11.09. This compilation CD will feature artists in all genres from across the USA and be sent to 1,000 veterans on November 11, 2009.



10 slots will be reserved for Sonicbid members, and all selected artists will be featured on the MFT website. In addition, all artists who have their songs uploaded to the MFT web site receive a tax deduction each time their song is downloaded by registered troops. Digital copies will be placed for sale on the MFT website and eBay, with all proceeds going toward sending the gift of music to our Troops and Veterans. Other compilations produced by Music For Troops included States All Stars, Support The Arts, YouSend It CD, Songs From the Heart, and Metal vs Rock.



Selected bands will receive one free copy of the compilation, but will receive no further compensation. It is also important to note that Music For Troops believes in and supports freedom of speech but, as a non-profit charity, cannot accept any submissions of a partisan or political nature. Refunds will not be granted for submissions with political content.
