The Opportunity
For more than a decade, thousands of music fans from across the prairies and beyond have flocked to Bengough for the annual Gateway Festival, growing the town's population by tenfold during the last weekend of July. With three stages of concerts and workshops, a children's area with performers and activities, "concerts and culture crawl", and many other events all delivered with small town charm, the Gateway Festival truly has something for everyone.
Past Performers Include:
Steve Earle, Corb Lund, The Sheepdogs, The Constantines, Buffy St. Marie, The Sadies, Northern Pikes, Deep Dark Woods, Yukon Blonde, The Wooden Sky

- Artists from Canada and US encouraged to submit
- Open to all ages

- 30-45 minute set
- Outdoor performance
- Backline includes festival drum kit, guitar amps, bass amp
- Professional sound and lighting provided
- Sound engineer provided
- Compensation negotiated at the time of booking
- Travel/accommodations factored into compensation
- Artists may sell merchandise and keep 85% of revenue
- Artist lounge with Food and drink provided
