Summary
DropHit.net has just announced the creation of a compilation CD of original music. Our goal is to showcase original music from the best emerging artists on Sonicbids. The CD will be distributed to over 150 College radio stations, 1500+ A&R reps, and most music conference grab bags including NEMO, Philly Music Conference, Atlantis, Millennium, and NXNE. In addition, each artist will receive 25 copies of the CD for their own use. This is our first CD project, and we hope to continue to do this each year!
Submissions are open to a variety of genres including: Rock, Hip-Hop, Pop, Country and a General genre to cover all others!
2 spots in each of the 5 genres above are reserved for Sonicbids artists! If you are one of these 10 artists selected, the inclusion fee (see below) is waived. All submissions will receive a review even if not selected for the compilation. Artists may submit up to 3 songs each.
There is a $125 inclusion fee used to cover the cost of manufacturing, and the human resources needed to make the project happen. Additionally, the fee covers the costs involved with Music Conference Grab bags.
