Summary

The 2007 Hollywood Book Festival takes place on Saturday, July 28 at Barnsdall Art Park, a lush setting overlooking the Hollywood Hills. The event will be heavily promoted in the Hollywood and East Los Angeles communities.



The event, free and open to the public, celebrates books worthy of further attention from the film/TV/multimedia communities and features live music, vendors, panels, clowns, face-painting, stage shows, costumed characters, author readings and more. Attendance is expected to be around 5,000 people.



Artists who submit must be able to perform acoustic or semi-acoustic to appear on the main stage. A table for post-performance CD and merchandise sales will be provided, as will a full PA/sound system.



The event is produced by JM Northern Media, which also produces the DIY Music Festival and New York Book Festival. Acts that do well at this event can also be considered for those opportunities
