Summary
Indiegrrl is pleased to announce their 2nd Annual Song contest. This competition is open to females of ALL ages. Quality of recording is not a factor, as songs will be judged on musical composition, lyrics, and uniqueness. Musical compositions only as well as songs with lyrics can be entered. Don't delay and take a chance at missing this deadline.
Prize packages will be awarded for the top 5 place winners. Some of the sponsors with prize packages are Luna Guitar, Daisy Rock Guitar, A to Z Media, Indie Band Manager, D'Addario, Planet Waves, G7th Capo, Sonicbids and more. Prize packages also include a free conference pass to attend the 2009 Indiegrrl Women in the Arts Conference in Nashville, TN on August 20 to 23 and have a special showcase appearance on the main stage.
Winners will also be included for a song selection on the 2010 Indiegrrl Compilation CD that is used heavily for promotional purposes to the media and other industry outlets.

Indiegrrl Women in the Arts is a non-profit organization working to build networking, educational, and showcasing opportunities for women in the arts of all ages. They produce annual events including a conference, festivals, showcases, contests and more.
