Summary

Mended Heart Records is now accepting submissions for their 2010 Compilation CD. The CD will feature 14 of the region’s most talented artists and will enable those artists to record a single specifically for the compilation. Four slots are reserved for just for Sonicbids artists. Those selected artists will receive one free full day in MHR's affiliate studio to record a single for the CD./n/nMended Heart Records is now accepting submissions for their 2010 Compilation CD. The CD will feature 14 of the region’s most talented artists and will enable those artists to record a single specifically for the compilation. Four slots are reserved for just for Sonicbids artists.


There will be full media and press coverage for the making of the project, including select sessions to be filmed in HD video and made into webisodes that will appear online. Selected artists will receive one free full day in MHR's affiliate studio, The Eagle Room, working with producer Matt Williams to record their single for the project and any additional music they have time to create. The singles will also be added to the MHR Sound Recording Catalog for potential licensing opportunities in the future, whereupon placement, artists will split earnings equally with the label.


In addition to online digital distribution, 1,000 copies will be pressed and packaged for sale through CDBaby and iTunes. 100% of the proceeds will benefit charity (still to be announced).


Confirmed participating acts include The Chuck Lichtenberger Collective (with members of national act Stephanie's Id), Americana Pop players, Uncle Mountain, and up and coming singer/songwriter sensation, Lyndsay Wojcik.
