Performances are located in a world-class 450 seat auditorium and in other venues in the community.

The proceeds of the festival go towards enhancing the music program in the local schools, providing free concerts to students and to support the local community event center. Last year over 2,000 people attended the festival and free concerts by Misty River were provided to over 900 school children.

Previous performers have included Tom Paxton, Tom Chapin, The Limeliters, The Highwaymen, The New Christy Minstrels, The Brothers Four, Barry McGuire and others. Headliners for this year are Chad & Jeremy. Weavermania, and The Trail Band.

As this is an acoustic only venue, groups with loud percussion or electric instruments will likely not be selected. The festival will have a total of 7 performers in addition to the headliners. Each performer is expected to perform up to two sets of up to 60 minutes in length. Selected artists may sell CDs and will be paid a honorarium of $500. Lodging can also be provided if necessary for selected artists. Last year, 5 of 8 of the artists who performed at the event were booked through Sonicbids.

The festival provides a professional sound engineer and sound system. Please note that artists are also responsible for their own transportation.
