Brooklyn Bodega is booking 3 Sonicbids artists total for this year's Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. 1 artist will receive a slot at the festival's main stage on Saturday and 2 will play the Juice Hip-Hop Exhibition stage on Thursday.

The Opportunity

This year's Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival is expanding to 4 full days in July. Main stage performances will take place on Saturday while panels and the Juice Hip-Hop Exhibition will take place on the 8th and 9th. 10,000-15,000 hip hop fans from across the globe trek to Brooklyn in order to witness the finest the genre has to offer in it's historic homeland of New York.

Presented by Brooklyn Bodega, The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival is one of America's premier hip-hop events, and is known for giving independent artists the chance to perform on the same bill as legends. The annual festival features the best in Old School, New School, local and future stars of hip-hop.

Jay Z, Kanye West, Jay Electronica, Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip, Kendrick Lamar, Raekwon, J. Cole, De La Soul, Ghostface Killah

The Band

  • Hip-hop, R&B and soul acts only
  • Artists from all locations encouraged to submit

The Gig


  • Set lengths are 15-20 minutes at the festival main stage and JUICE
  • Panels and JUICE will take place indoors at local venues
  • Main stage festival performance on Saturday will be outdoors
  • Backline includes DJ set up (Decks, mixer) and drum kit
  • House DJ can be provided but artists encouraged to have their own DJ
  • Professional sound and sound engineer provided
Additional Compensation Details:
  • Artists may sell merchandise and keep 100% of the revenue
  • Selected acts receive passes to the festival
  • Small guest list for selected artists provided
  • All selected artists will be included in official press for the festival
