2017 Roswell Film Festival

The Roswell Film Festival is booking up to 108 Sonicbids bands and artists to perform in 2017. Selected artists are compensated and provided festival wristbands.

The Independent Music Division of the Roswell Film Festival celebrates the original artists' music and the performance of the original work. The Roswell Film Festival celebrates the international brand related to the infamous UFO experiences while being hosted in the city of Roswell, NM.

The festival centers around five sections of films: General Entry, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Independent, Documentary and New Mexico Based. Both Feature and Short Films are included and submissions come from all over the world.

Events include parties, panel discussions, workshops, contests, awards and of course a great selection of films. Music submissions will receive the attention of both film and music professionals - a real time opportunity and a broader avenue of exposure.

• Welcome to Blues, Country, Americana, Pop and Classic Rock acts
• Selecting musicians who perform original and cover material
• Acoustic acts, fully-plugged acts and solo artists welcome
• All submissions are reviewed by a panel of music and film industry professionals
  

Details:

• Performances will take place across a minimum of 6 venues
• 30-45 minute sets
• Sound equipment and backline provided

• Selected artists will be paid a small cash award for their performance
• Selected artists will have wristbands that provide access to the music stages, film showings, exhibits and all conference events
  
• There will also be an awards "red carpet" event for musicians showcasing who have received the highest scores for their show. Those awards will be for:  Male Vocalist,  Female Vocalist, Rock Artist, Country Artist, Blues Artist, Songwriter, and the IMD Live Performance Award
