Summary
216 Records, a new subsidiary of entertainment organization YuuFuu, will be releasing compilation CDs that feature the very best in unsigned dance/techno in it's "Future Perfect" series. This is primarily a promotional series with a fair portion of pressed discs going to various A&R representatives internationally.
The compilation is focused on "harder" forms of electronic and dance music, and so we are most interested in high BPM, energetic music. Hard house, hardcore/happy hardcore, Hi-NRG, and drum & bass are some of the suggested subgenres.
We plan on an initial run of 500 discs, to be delivered to press, A&R execs and management firms. Compensation will not apply for promo discs, but if we decide to offer the compilation for public sale via direct digital download, which will be discussed with selected artists, then industry standard royalties will apply.
