Summary
In its 4th year, the Nashville New Music Conference (2NMC), to be held September 15-19, 2004, offers independent music artists of all genres an opportunity to perform, network, and learn in a professional environment designed to encourage and assist them in their pursuit of a successful career in the music industry. There are 300 showcase slots available during 2NMC. Showcases will be held at 22 venues around Nashville, including 12th and Porter, Bluebird Café, Exit/In, The End, Mercy Lounge and Pub of Love.
Artists interested in showcasing at the event will submit an application and sample of their music for consideration by 2NMC's listening committee of music industry professionals. This committee will then select showcase performers in each genre based on their level of songwriting and performance ability.
2NMC attracts a mixture of emerging independent artists and established national acts with new material. This years event sponsors include Guitar Player, Disc Makers, NSAI, Sonicbids and dozens more...
All genres of music are accepted. Also comedy and spoken word.
