The 4 Corners Songwriters Round - New York City (Jan-Apr 2010)

The 4 Corners Songwriters Round takes place the last Monday of every month at The GOOGIE'S, NYC. Each round features 4 songwriters; singer/songwriters showcase their songs one at a time. There are two performance opportunities reserved for Sonicbids artists each month. Past performers at the series include Jenifer Jackson, Evan Felts, Matt Singer, Karen Baxter in the last rounds and others before that./n/nThe 4 Corners Songwriters Round takes place the last Monday of every month at The GOOGIE'S, NYC from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Hosted by Remy de Laroque and Dan Strauss, this is an excellent opportunity for up and coming artists, as well as established acts, to get in front of new faces.

Each round features 4 songwriters. Singer/songwriters showcase their songs one at a time, in the round, to an audience seated around them. The audience and songwriters are then encouraged to comment on songs during the show.



There are two performance opportunities reserved for Sonicbids artists each month. They accept all acoustic performers from singer/songwriter, to blues, folk, country, etc. Some compensation may be available from a split of tips, depending on how many people attend.



Past performers at the series include Jenifer Jackson, Evan Felts, Matt Singer, Karen Baxter in the last rounds and others before that. They do ask that each songwriter bring at least 5 people. This Songwriter's Round only works if there is an audience.
