5000 Seconds - Music/Video Licensing

The deadline is coming soon to submit to 5000 Seconds Inc. They are currently seeking all genres of music to score a unique, one of a kind collaborative independent feature length film. Songwriters will be compensated $100 per track used, given full screen credit, 100% of publishing income and provided with a copy of the finished product./n/n5000 Seconds Inc. is currently seeking all genres of music to score a unique, one of a kind collaborative independent feature length film. Specifically, they are looking for music to play over the final credits and, possibly, the opening credits.



The film's soundtrack already includes Paul Shaffer (band leader for David Letterman) and Marcy Playground (smash single: "Sex and Candy") with a few more big names to follow. At least one Sonicbids artist will be selected for placement in the opening or closing credits.



The film will be edited by Emmy award winning and Hollywood editor Erik C. Anderson. Erik's work includes T.V. show Las Vegas and the following movies: Madonna: Truth or Dare, Bring it On, Killer Pad, Housebroken, Speed 2, Broken Arrow, Desperado, Slackers, Four Rooms, Animal and more.



5000 Seconds Inc. has already been approached by several major distributors from around the world and has Emmy Award winning Bite TV on board as one broadcaster.



Please note that songwriters retain ownership over their materials, and there is a basic flat fee license. As is standard in this type of agreement, songwriters will be compensated $100 per track used, given full screen credit and provided with a copy of the finished product. They will also be due 100% of any applicable publishing monies. Artists selected through Sonicbids will be given preference for the soundtrack album and will receive appropriate royalties for albums sold.
