50mics Tournament 2010

The 50mics Tournament is a monthly challenge that began in 2008 which features a live competition as well as a separate online competition. The live competition takes place on the first Friday of every month and 3 winners from each monthly round will proceed to the next to face new competition./n/n50mics was founded to be an inexpensive resource for unsigned talent and to provide talented underground artists with the exposure they deserve. They began simply as a monthly mixtape that would feature 50 artists from various genres. After receiving critical acclaim and positive feedback from on their mixtape series, they have created the 50mics Tournament to discover the hottest unsigned talent.



The 50mics Tournament is a monthly challenge that began in January 2008, which has features a live competition as well as a separate online competition. The live competition takes place on the first Friday of every month and 3 winners from each monthly round will proceed to the next to face new competition. Artists from 4 different genres will compete for the chance to appear on 50mics Mash-Up Album to be released next year.



The 50mics Tournament is seeking unsigned artists in the genres of Rock, R&B/Pop, Reggae, and Hip Hop. Once selected there is a $100 registration fee. Four Sonicbids artists will have this extra fee waived. Contestants will be promoted on their mixtape series. Finalists will receive royalties from sales of the 50mics Mash-Up Album as well as the opportunity to tour the country promoting the album. This is a great opportunity for any unsigned artist looking for exposure.
